An inaugural fundraising event and celebration benefitting the youth development, disaster relief and other programs of the Players Trust, the charitable nonprofit of all Major League Baseball Players.
Join us at this star-studded event as we welcome 300+ Playmakers representing various industries, including current and former MLB Players from around the League.
This is not your “typical” fundraiser. The MLB Players Trust brings energy and excitement to the Playmakers Classic. Enjoy non-stop entertainment and interactives such as:

What is the recommended dress code for this event?Party chic. Smart and sophisticated. Elegant, but not overdone. Tailored, but not too traditional. Pairing “work” with play, casual with dressy trendsetting elements. For men, this implies dress pants with a button down, to jeans with a blazer. For women, a cocktail dress to skinny jeans with heels and a blouse.

Is there an age requirement?The 2023 Playmakers Classic is intended for guests 21 and over. Anyone who would like to bring an underage guest must inform us in advance. Please contact Sophia Diaz at sdiaz@mlbpa.org to discuss.

Will there be transportation?Yes! Private sprinters are available to/from the event every 15 minutes. Pick Up Location: Lobby of Vdara Hotel Time: Begins at 5:30 PM Plan on driving? There are valet and self-parking options at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

Will there be a check in?Yes, upon arrival all guests will be required to check-in at the entrance of the event space within Retro at Mandalay Bay. Due to security measures, all guests must be on the guest list and provide photo ID.

What is the musical entertainment at this year’s event?Opening Act: Luke Berryhill, Minor League Player and aspiring country-music artist Headline Performance: John Rzeznik, Lead Singer of the Goo Goo Dolls Emcee: Robert Ackah (Bojo) of the Las Vegas Raiders DJ: Hector Minjarez (CO1) also of the Las Vegas Raiders

Where can I find my table once I arrive?Unlike most galas, there will be no reserved dinner tables. Sponsors of certain levels will receive branded lounge spaces. Other guests will have access to high top tables and other non-reserved seating.

What activities can I participate in?Golf virtual closes to the pin for close to $8K in prizes – including MGM credits, Sony entertainment gear, and Hyperice equipment! Poker and blackjack for over $5K in prizes! Wine tastings Live cigar roller and outdoor cigar patio Signature cocktails by Casamigos tequila Silent auction for over $120K in memorabilia and sporting event tickets Fanatics Live “Breaking the Packs” broadcast ….and a ton more!
