Each year, All-Star Weekend provides an opportunity to highlight these charitable efforts, shine a light on those we serve, and showcase what’s possible when we come together to do the most good.
Announcing the Inaugural MLB Players STEM League All-Star Championship
July 17, 2022 | Los Angeles, CA
This year, the Players Trust has launched a new program in partnership with the nonprofit, Learn Fresh, called the MLB Players STEM League, an educational board game for middle-school age youth. Inspired by the game of baseball, STEM League brings to life the energy of the sport we love while cultivating the math and social-emotional skills of young students.
To officially kick off the program, 24 students from across the country competed in the inaugural STEM League All-Star Championship in Los Angeles on July 17, 2022. Teams went head-to-head in a single-elimination tournament and competed for the title of the first-ever All-Star Champions. The winners were invited to the Home Run Derby for a one-of-a-kind experience courtesy of Nolan Arenado.
